Parents and Carers  »  Care Club

Stanningley Care Club is open to support families and children who need extra after school care. We aim for the children to have an enjoyable after school experience where they can relax and wind down after a busy day of learning. In Care Club, we like to draw and colour, play board games, bake, play outside, watch movies and so much more. Some children even like to do their homework!

If you would like to request a place for Care Club, then please contact Mrs Dawson in the school office and complete the necessary forms.

Children from Reception to Year 6 are welcome in Care Club and those who attend will be collected from their classes at 3:05 pm and can enjoy their time with us up until 6:00 pm.

The cost of Care Club is £12 per child per session and payment must be made in advance to secure your child’s place. Please be aware there is a limited to the number of spaces in each session.  If you require a place and we are full on your chosen days, we can place your child on our waiting list.

Children are offered a variety of food to eat as an after school snack. We usually have this at 4pm and this could consist of sandwiches, beans on toast, soup, pasta, pancakes etc.
Water is available to all children throughout the duration of Care Club.

There are two members of staff on duty at care club: Miss Thorpe and Miss Sibson.  On some nights there may be an additional member of staff, depending on numbers.

In Care Club, we expect the same level of commitment to behaviour as we do the rest of the time at Stanningley Primary School. Our School behaviour policy is followed in Care Club and children are asked to sign a contract before they start to agree to follow the Care Club rules. Parents will be informed if behaviour is giving cause for concern. If a child is not responding to guidance and support, they may not be permitted to attend Care Club in the future.
We have great fun at after school care club
